Description
This course is the content delivered during Day 1 of our 2022 Build Beyond Conference. The 2022 conference focus was on the specific typology of familial trafficking and best treatment strategies for survivors of familial trafficking.
Objectives
Participants will gain an understanding of how to:
- Recognize familial trafficking and its differentiation from other typologies of human trafficking
- Identify the impact of attachment, familial trauma, and developmental trauma
- Examine cultural systems and generational beliefs that can affect treatment
- Develop a toolkit of resources for survivors of familial trafficking
