Description
Build Beyond is one of the few clinically focused conference event tailored to working with survivors of trafficking. Taught by subject matter experts, this annual conference goes beyond the basics, sharing effective clinical models and best practices for human trafficking recovery services. The 20234conference focus for Day 2 was survivor engagement, effective allyship, and addressing secondary trauma.
Objectives
Participants will:
- Recognize critical components of survivor engagement and how to employ these components at your organization.
- Analyze how to implement effective strategies for Allies.
- Demonstrate the importance of addressing secondary trauma when working with survivors of trafficking and exploitation.
